Lol I need to find a way to let LAecia shrink at will. Too much fun for her not to be able to do that, but she's useless at smaller sizes.

Hopefully I described what I was trying to do well enough. I had to really think about what the wing parts would be called anatomically.

This should give a good visual, I think. Basically, shi's set up the crook between hir shoulder and the first digit to act like an arrow slit/brace.

Hir wings would only have small, thicker-skinned connections from hir shoulders down to about the bottom of hir shoulder blades, though, not nearly as far down as the ones in the picture. I imagine hir having good-length membranes and phalanges, though (probably between hip and knee-length, but not attached to anything but the wing anchors).

I understood the general idea Lycan. That said... While Aeori's body maybe be partially fused with the metal from her armor I can't imagine a a very high concentration would be in her wing membrane... They won't stop arrows, but they will be slowed by them... but that's going to hurt a good chunk.

Now that you mention it, it feels Naruto. Powerful fox spirit hitchhiking in the body, able to use some of their power, and when the get free, shit dies.

Only difference is Verdant is technically hitchhiking in Maya's body... But he has control of it be default.

I honestly don't know what to post. Bluebell doesn't seem to have any open options at all here. She doesn't really have but one way to actually attack, which is through some beginner-level staff swinging, and she'd be a pincushion before getting close enough to use it...she already used her invigorate spell on Jade...her barriers, which stop magical attacks but not physical ones, can't block the arrows anyway...she's already tried running and hiding and that was a wash...and she's already trying to hide as effectively as possible behind the best-armored member of the party.

Out of ideas on what else she can possibly try.
